Financial assistance plus OnStar
Independence through mobility is at the heart of GM’s commitment to assist drivers who face special challenges. A vast array of products are available that make GM vehicles amazingly accessible and easier to travel. If you require the use of a personal mobility device, such as a wheelchair or scooter, GM vehicles can be adapted to lift and stow your device with complete security. Or, if you find it difficult to get into or out of a vehicle, there are special turning seats that make it a breeze. These adaptive equipment products, and many others, are eligible for the GM Mobility Program with OnStar.
Under the terms of the program, customers can receive up to $1,000 reimbursement PLUS two extra years of standard OnStar service at no additional cost when they buy or lease an eligible new GM vehicle and adapt it with eligible mobility equipment modifications, such as hand controls, scooter or wheelchair lifts. OnStar is the world's most comprehensive in-vehicle security, communications, and diagnostics system and is available on more than 50 vehicles. Since the first year of OnStar service is included on all new OnStar-equipped GM vehicles, GM Mobility customers get three years of OnStar service with their purchase. All GM brands (Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, HUMMER, Pontiac, Saab and Saturn) are included in the program. Limit $1,000 total reimbursement per eligible vehicle.
